Czech Republic
(31-10-2005)

The first concert of the Prague International
Orchestra took place on the banks of the river
Voltava at the emblematic Zofin Palace in Prague
on 31 October 2005.

After speeches by both Barbora Sedlacková and
Jaroslav Vocelka, the Orchestra began to play the
chords of several pieces by Spanish composers
(Albéniz, Granados y Falla) as well as other world
famous composers.

The simple but emotional concert was attended by
more than 100 Spanish businessmen who had come to the Economic, Political and Cultural Meeting Spain-
Czech Republic 2005.

It is worth pointing out that amongst the different personalities who did not want to miss out such an outstanding event was the Czech Prime Minister. The rest of the audience was made up of 250 Czech businessmen as well as members of the diplomatic corps assigned in the capital of this beautiful Central European country.

That day, Euroempresa Group acquired the commitment with the musicians to take the music of the Orchestra throughout Europe, by means of a series of tours showing out the greatest interpretative qualities of the Czech musicians and bringing about the final aim of music: the union of peoples.
